The Jerrabomberra Heights Weather Station is a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus Weather Station (Model 6162). This Weather Station also tracks Solar Radiation and UV Levels as well as all of the typical weather data.

The Weather Station is located in Jerrabomberra Heights, New South Wales, close to Canberra which is the National Capital of Australia.

The Weather Station is connected to a PC running Weather Display and Weather Display Live. This PC feeds the data to a web server so that it is available on the internet. The main weather page updates every 10 minutes, and the live weather feed updates every 4 seconds. The PC backs the data up to a server each night to protect the historical weather records.

Weather Display also downloads the METAR reports from Canberra Airport every 15 minutes, which is located roughly 8km to the NNE. The current conditions of the sky reported by the METAR are used to set the sky conditions in Weather Display and on the Internet for this weather station.

Weather Display also contributes data to various other organisations including the Weather Underground, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and various Weather Service Web Sites.

Weather Display generates a mariad of reports and statistics, which you can access via the menu bar. Daily weather reports and weather alerts are also available via email. Please contact me via the email address weather at senapsys dot com to be added to the email list.
