About This Station

The station is powered by a Davis Vantage2 Pro weather station and has been continuous operation since July 2006. The data is collected every 2 seconds and the site is updated every 10 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather-Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge, thermo-hydro sensor, UV senor and solar sensor.

The Weather Station is located in Jerrabomberra Heights, New South Wales, close to Canberra which is the National Capital of Australia.

Current Conditions

This site downloads the METAR reports from Canberra Airport every 15 minutes, which is located roughly 8km to the NNE. The current conditions of the sky reported by this METAR are used to set the sky conditions for this weather station.
